Obsession.

Guest book.

 Meet Steve.

Downstairs bathroom.

Downstairs queen room.

Armoire knobs.

He came allll the way from Afghanistan. Welcome to America.

We may or may not have an obsession with owls.
And believe it or not, there's more.
But we love them.
We don't think it's too excessive... Do you?

Pink Tub?

Our last little bit of availability has just been taken.  We are now booked solid until the 26th of May, 2014.  If you needed to come during that time, we are sorry we cannot accomodate your dates.  Book now before the rest of the year just disappears!

I want to do you all a solid, and show you just  a hint of what you are missing.  A pink bathtub.  NOT kidding.   It was in the house when my parents bought it, they never replaced it, and seriously, if its not broke, don't fix it right?  I would rather have new carpet...

Happy New Year to all of our past guests, future guests, friends and family.

In that Christmas spirit.

When you book for a holiday, we want to make it as festive as possible.
We want you to feel at home, welcome & as comfortable as you can get.

We get excited about each & every one of our guests that come in. But holidays are special!
As in, homemade hot chocolate mix & homemade pumpkin bread waiting for you when you arrive, special.
You know you want it.

Unfortunately, Christmas has been booked this year.
But we want you for the next... and the next!

Book early, come often.
Go HERE for more info.

Merry Christmas!

Just another reason to LOVE the VCH!

One of the many reasons we love Sanpete County is it's been almost untouched by the outside city people that one can still find lost treasures in the dirt that just need to be cleaned up and shown.  Its true! Don't believe me? Bring your metal detector and go exploring. You might be surprised by what you find.

Here are a few things we have "Repurposed" from old treasures we have found around Sanpete.

This is an old electrical box found in a pasture.

Beautifully redone "original to Sanpete" barn wood.
These beautiful pieces of barn wood art are available upon request right now. Plans on listing a few in our Etsy Store are in the works, but are very popular and barn wood is limited. Get your original pieces now before its to late.

This is a locally found piece as well This little beauty was found in a local residence shop. She was beautifully repurposed and lovingly placed in the upstairs landing. She houses books and knickknacks.
~~~~~~~~~~
 Capturing the beauty of the local area is not hard at all. Come. Visit. Leave your phones behind. (unless its to take pictures) Look around and see what you find. You may be surprised what's right under your feet.
Exciting stuff going on!
OHV Riders will now be able to drive Skyline Drive from Highway 6 in Utah County all the way to I-70 in Sevier County.  UDOT has approved and installed signage for an OHV route up Fairview Canyon that will connect North and South Skyline Drive.  Previously, because of state highways 31 and 264, OHV riders could not legally get from North Skyline to South Skyline without hauling their OHV on a trailer.  You can now legally ride along hwy 264 for 2 miles to make this connection.  See the attached map.
Once Carbon County competes a route from Scofield State Park to the Manti-LaSal National Forest (hopefully later this summer),  three state parks will be connected via OHV trails (Scofield, Palisade, and Millsite)
